  1. Just finished is the Hasegawa 1/32 P-40E done as Tex Hill's P-40E '108'. Used Yahu PE IP and Eduard PE
seatbelts, otherwise OOB.  I have also done his P-40B Tomahawk some years back.

Aircraft 108 was one of the replacement P-40E's picked up from India. The U.S. stars were replaced with the Chinese suns on the wings and were painted out on the fuselage sides, but the U.S. ARMY under the wings was retained. Tex Hill was associated with this aircraft in most sources, especially during the Salween River Gorge missions.

    Cheers,
    Jerry   :piliot:

That's pretty cool that you are young enough to get to know your great-grandkids! My great-grandparents were all dead before I was born (some may have died when I was very small), due to very large generation gap in my family. My paternal great-grandfather (yes, only one great) was born in 1850 and died in 1899......69 years before I was born. My own grandfather was born in 1894, so there was no chance my kids would have gotten to meet him. I envy you, Jerry!

Thanks Tim.  I only got to know one of my great grand parents and one grand parent so I feel blessed that I get to know
10 grandchildren and so far 6 great grand children (one great grandson in that mix LOL).  I will be 83 7/30).

    Cheers,
    Jerry

Has to be something wrong on their end. Did you shoot them an email?

    Peter,

Yes I did.  I am the one who boo booed.  Sometime last year I must have accidently marked one of their weekend specials
as SPAM and asked to un-scribe. As I have said before I am no longer responsible for what my feeble mind thinks and
    what my fingers type.  :lol::lol:

  4. This time it is the Hasegawa 1/48 F-4C of the 188th TFG of the Arkansas ANG. Used Quickboost resin seats, Zoukei Mura PE
cockpit set (which fit the Hasegawa pit 98% perfect) and Speed Hunter Graphics decals.

    Cheers,

  5. Any of you still receiving the Sprue Bros newsletter?  I have not received one in quite a long while and I see that
that my email address is still listed as to receive one.  Haven't had one from Squadron in quite a while either.

    Cheers,
    Jerry
