  1. Perhaps Ferrari yellow.with the prancing horse logo.. Jeeze Ernie..now I want to do one.
  2. I posted pics of the show on T.O.S.
  3. HA HA HA....Too funny Martin....Hoping you'll be the fourth. cheers my friend.
  4. I never like any of my finished builds.. even in some cases just gave them away. ..All but one one perhaps..Full conversion on Special Hobby F-80 to a Canadair CT-133. I still like it.
  5. Big thanks guys really do appreciate it.. And Martin "Nobody builds them for a reason" and we both now know why.
  6. We do NEED a whole new F-86...These are some issues on both the Kinetic and Has. kits....biggest on the Has. is the cockpit and canopy are not 32nd scale..too small for the rest of the aircraft...the Kinetic is far too thick in places and the surface detail and panel lines could be a whole lot better(the nose and gun troughs are just bad),plus the tail planes are the wrong sweep and shape and again too thick...There are more than a number of items to correct on both kits ..but you get the idea. and Harold is correct, made new nose and gun panels and sent to him,Harold is a great guy to deal with....scratched a lot of detail in my own cockpits for the Sabre. Would love to see a new kit, would be over the moon.
  7. Yup...Calgary is supposed to get buried. Sorry Martin.
  8. It's starting to accumulate where we are.
  9. I'm going......stopped buying raffle tickets though...got enough for two lifetimes. might donate a few items. And trust me..it will rain.
  10. I just looked at my fridge....LOL.
  11. This could be the finest aircraft kit for a long many years. just Check the boxes..spectacular subject,check...spectacular detail,check...Company that makes the most accurately detailed kits out there, check. And Jeff is right...I do want rather than need, will order one but probably just to own it,can't grantee I'll even build it to be honest.(know what that sounds like, sorry) But do believe the price is going to be a shocker for many of us. right now I'm thinking 600 plus, hope I'm wrong but feel it's close. I mean four beautifully detailed Merlins..C'mon.
  12. Check this out....oil canning and raised rivets... less than a year to release ..so plan ahead. Wonder if there will be a pre-order option? http://www.wingnutwings.com/ww/productdetail?productid=3193&cat=5
  13. Thanks Smitty..... Like the close up shot of the WNW Lancaster engine...spectacular...and there are 4 of em....this isn't going to be cheap. I'm now thinking between 6 and 7 hundred
  14. You can zoom in on WNW Lanc and HK Lanc.close ups There's a 32nd P-40 but don't have much info. https://hobbylink.tv/the-latest-scale-model-news-from-the-all-japan-model-hobby-show-2018/
  15. I know....if you have one extra Revell Cub you'd like to sell or trade...LMK please. Thanks guys.
  16. OK Martin...are you saying it has or wishing it has? Having overlapping panels and raised rivets is kick ass already.
  17. Absofreakinlutely!!! Perhaps we could talk Brian into foiling one for us...LOL.
  18. Evidently the kit has been in development for something like 8 years... sure it might have been prudent to announce some time ago (thinking of HK) But WNW is just like Tamiya..don't know what's coming until it's just about here and don't care what other companies are releasing..Except for this one occasion. I believe WNW for the first time has let the cat out of the bag early, because they have invested heavily in time and money (which will show spectacularly in this kit) and would be very cognizant of lost sales to a competitor. It's just business, although it may seem unfair it was still the right thing to do. This was my response on the other site. I do feel some semblance of sympathy for HK, but unfortunately there won't be any comparison. And yes.. my spare change jar has WNW taped on it.
  19. I wish they'd do an F-86. Seriously. Love your builds John.
