Wow, there are ppl that still use tube glue?
I have the Contacta with the thin metal applicator... but rarely use it.

I'm amazed the underwing tank didn't go off. If flame and smoke weren't so diaphanous, it would make a great diorama. I know... there are dios out there showing flame and smoke... but they only work when seen from a distance. One hint of a cotton fibre or a hard edge... and the illusion is gone and it looks like crap.

T-55 ENIGMA
in ARMOR
Interesting. Arab armor gives plenty of opportunity for heavy weathering.

Wow!! Great looking aircraft! I think seeing how great your ww1 aircraft look makes me want to try to do some too!!
Thank you! WNW made some great and I daresay easy to make look-good kits. I heartily recommend them.

That amount of paint is staggering.

Another corsair? Or is it the same one as last time I looked? Nice cockpit.

Really nice work, Ron! Freaky eye surgery description. How's the vision?

So very nice, Sasha! Love the way you weathered and shaded the yellow areas.

Very nice looking progress, Ern.

Very nice, Rob. I have to admit... I thought that loop under the tail was a skid of some kind to protect the tail during landing.

Hey Gary, thank you for the kind words. If you like I can cut some masks for you.
Thank you Kevin, now your are making me blush :), much appreciated .
Thanks for the offer, Martin. I can cut masks. But if I don’t know the plane’s codes…. I can’t print anything.

Looks very nice, Martin. I like the heavily weathered finish. I have to admit being a bit envious when I look at mine still un-painted. I was waiting for an Aussie fellow to produce some Aussie-piloted machine decals. But he has failed to produce and I'm kinda well-stuck-into the base for my 'wet' group build S-boat.
So, rudderless on my spitfire...

Certainly does look like a fine kit. Details look great, Peter.

WOT ? I thought it was 75, but then realised it was only 45 … Now if you shorten it further, I am sure I will (again) prove I am bad at Group builds 😂 …
Hubert
Heh... here I thought it ended June 1. Silly me. Anyway... 45 days... now you have no reason to procrastinate. Rome wasn't built in a day.... But maybe 45.

always a hairy time, Rob... cementing parts to your clear parts... and then attaching them to the model. I have never done a 234 in any scale. I'll be keen to see your results.
I don't have much patience for PVA glue to fill, though. I think I'd go with UV gel.

Rob,
Glad to see this one back in business. As before, the pit looks wonderful. I agree, the Arado is a fascinating machine.

Nice pic. Horrible kit really. All of the turret barbettes are poorly shaped. Raised panel lines. Too little wing surface detail. The bosses for the Hamilton Standard props are overly long... and the canvas control surfaces are very heavily made. Maybe I shouldn't say horrible... Reshape the barbettes, and shorten the propeller bosses by 4mm... then it's a blank canvas. Just your kind of thing, Chris.
I foiled one a 6-7 years ago. But my lack of scribing skills coupled with a poor knowledge of the bird made it hard to finish. I searched all over online... but nobody ever takes pics of the tops and bottoms of wings close enough for useful detailing. I wasn't really in a position to buy a lot of books on it at the time.

I swear every time I drop something... which is often. Though the scariest drops are when the xacto rolls off the bench with my bare feet below... then the sound isn't so much swearing as a sound of fear and dread.
