  1. Before I start with my Tornado I want to show you some pics of my Tamiya F-16 Fighting Falcon. I build this kit OOB except an Aires bangseat and lots of scratchbuilding. Gunze Colors were used for the painting. Handpainting the cockpit is a challenge but made a lot of fun. That‘s all regarding the F-16. Will complete the Mirage III diorama and then move on to the Tornado.
  2. Today I want to present to you my finished F4U-1A Corsair Diorama. The work in progress pics are here: I had the idea for a propaganda-scene when I came across the figure of a cameraman from the US Navy of WWII in 1/35 and the Black-Sheep VMF-214 wooden sign in 1/32 scale from King&Country. The figures are a pilot out of the Kit, a director and a mechanic and a woman soldier of the Navy Medical Corps adoring the kill-marks on the plane. Especially the Ultracast figure of Boyington is beautifully sculptured. The airfield plates are from Brengun and the turnable plate from IKEA. The palms are handmade and come from a German Diorama Accessoires supplier. Thanks for looking. FullSizeRender.mov
  3. Here are some pics of the work in progress of my Tamiya Corsair Diorama depicting the aircraft of Gregory Boyington in a scene called „Propaganda Debriefing“. I want to share these pictures with you although I build the model and diorama already in 2017 so that you do not always see only my finished models. I will post some fotos of the finished model and diorama later in the finished works forum. Thanks for looking.
  4. hi all The Tamiya Spitfire mk8 is finished now. I used MasterCasters wheels, Barracuda Studios detail sets and decals. As usual paints are Gunze and Tamiya + for the weathering Tamiya sets. Jan.
  5. After some short run kits I needed a kit that would fit better. So a Tamiya 1/32 kits was the natural choice for me, it's my first but certainly not the last The cockpit is almost done, it has stretched my painting skills and yes, next time I will use a different painting method for some small parts. Here some pictures, Jan
