  1. Afternoon all - and happy New Year! I thought I'd share a new project with you - the old ID Models 1/32nd scale Short Sunderland vacform. I've had it in the stash for a while, and decided to dust it off and give her a turn on the bench. The first task (after hours of rubbing down the fuselage halves) was to mark and cut out the fuselage openings such as the cockpit, turrets, bomb windows and portholes:
  2. When I saw this kit on ebay recently for a good price I couldn’t help myself. A Tigger Models Vacform (ex-ID Models) is very basic but makes a nice canvas for fun scratchbuilding. Having some Lancaster spares such as complete set of turrets come in handy. Further bits from the sparesbox and plasticard will help. No rush, just having fun every now and then.
