I figured it would be best to insert the engines and attach the cowl flaps and exhausts before painting. As you can see I screwed the pooch on those. Right now I'm setting 'em aside and will come back later when I'm ready for more aggravation. :wacko:

Got 'em sorted out. Not pretty but all that won't be visible anyway. I still need to add the exhausts to the one.

Good solution, John!  sometimes we must find our own method even if it is contrary to the instructions.
