I just read this announcement on Sprue Brothers website:

NEW FAMILY OF 1:32 F-4 PHANTOMS

In partnership with Phantom Phreaks, we have been working on a very special project that we can finally announce - a new family of 1:32 F-4 Phantom kits. Twelve (12) versions are planned beginning in 2022. Tentatively the first release will be the F-4B. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.

If this is really going to happen, I couldn't ask for more

Keep 'em comin

He also mentioned that they are looking to release it in the spring of next year. The cost is around $300.00.

In which case they are in the same ballpark as a Tamiya Phantom with all the bells and whistles to make it an up-to-date 1/32 replica.

I hear you Mark.  I am in the same boat.    I would like the 4-B but not at $300.00.

Considering the amount of time that will be spent on building the new F4… $300 is reasonable.

Remember our hobby is one of the least expensive hobbies out there when you consider radio control, Trains, slot cars, etc. etc.

I will argue that we need to support these guys so that they keep bringing out better and better kits.
