I will never buy from Kitlinks again.  They stiffed me on an order of a few Taurus engines, which are not exactly inexpensive.  All my emails went unanswered, including one that went directly to Loic.  Beware dealing with them.

Happened to me twice. Never again

Yes. I saw no problem with it either. But your build, build it to your good taste......harv

I painted it the wrong color, plus wasn’t crazy about the grey dial highlights.

The goal of the build is to not weather or highlight. I know I’m weird.

thanks for chiming in Harv.

Btw, if you mask a bunch, I highly recommend this template from Infini Model. The well made template features scored grooves on the surface to cut consistent strips very fast.

One of my most used tools - just love it. I stopped buying all the various widths of Tamiya tape and now just buy the 18mm size and cut it to what every width I need. The cutting board has become an indispensable tool use all the time.

Keep 'em comin

Absolutely, I have also purchased the circle template and will report on its use.

I have the Infini cutting templates and like them a lot. Lots of masking tasks can be cut with these. Sometimes, when I'm using the circular one for smaller circles, the blade jumps out of the grove easily if not working full concentrated. I have a set of metal etched templates from Voyager which are more forgiving in that regard.
Priceless tools, both kinds, specially for cutting tiny strips for wooden WWI props.

Ditto on the Infini cutting templates.  I picked them up (I have three of the four templates) for my ship models, but they can be used in so many applications.  When I first saw them, I was thinking to myself why would I need them?  Now I can't imagine working without them.

Completely agree. Would really appreciate seeing some of your ship models.

The pilots workplace looks great and tidy with the newly painted IP. You've got to love these Hasegawa IP's which are better molded and therefore easier to paint than most.

Your work looks great so far. I'm enjoying your build. Yes, I also have one of the Infini

templates and I agree, wonderful product. I have something coming in the mail from

kitlinx. Recently, I found some of the Takom workable track links for the British early

MK IV tanks on their website......rare as hens teeth...I bought two sets right away! Honestly, my only problems I've had with them is with shipping.

Nice work on cleaning up the seams ... what would aircraft modeling be without filler and sanding?

Keep 'em comin

Peter

Yep, for sure.

I typically just use super glue as a filler.
