PAnderson Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Here is my work area. It's a mess right now but it's my mess, totally. Fairly large and even bigger when I take the time to move the table saw out and into the basement proper. This is adjacent to the basement proper, which gives me more room to work. Right now I am building my own spray booth with suction. And some of my stash. So this is where I keep my sanity. And it stays down here, safe and sound. 1
StreetFightingMan Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 I love it! Great stash, I want that Schnellboot!
harvey boyer Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 By way of comparison to Paul's outstanding work area I have included a photo of mine. This was taken last summer just after i moved in, compact and bijou....... http--,,--// I think this is slightly larger than mine !............Harv
sparbucks Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Hi Harv - what a great selection of kits and modelling interests. Your man cave looks ..comfy! Peter
Grant Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Have to say how cosy that looks Paul. Don't know who Brad is but I kept looking for the boxes with my name on them - I think I spotted it on the Revell U-Boat and the Schnellboot. Don't worry about the Flower Class Corvette - if that's a reboot of the Matchbox one then, thanks any way but I've built that. Serious, nice space to settle down and get on with some building.

Grant, lol, brad isn't a person. That is an air brad nailer to go along with a finisher and a stapler. Thanks guys. Martin, I know the elavator in that booth lead down into a cavernous system of work rooms. Paul
Grant Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Martin, I know the elavator in that booth lead down into a cavernous system of work rooms. Paul I reckon it leads down to the "Ministry of Magic"
GUY5Y Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 When you open the Heinekin case, will be there to help. Great cave.
PAnderson Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 When you open the Heinekin case, will be there to help. Great cave. Haha Jeroen, that Heinekin case holds some of about three hundred 33 1/3 RPM albums from the 70's and 80's. I'm showing my age here, LOL. Paul
rkranias Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 nice stash and work area...love that drill press...meaning WANT.
PAnderson Posted March 13, 2013 Author Posted March 13, 2013 nice stash and work area...love that drill press...meaning WANT. Thanks Rick. That drill press is getting moved to make room for the spray booth I just built. It will get vented out that window above the DP. When I moved into that room it looked like it had all the room I needed. Haha, never the case. The table that U-boat box is sitting on is a very large table saw, that must go out into the basement area. Then I will feel more comfortable.
Dennis.E Posted December 24, 2015 Posted December 24, 2015 ...Is your workshop wife proofed or can she who must be obeyed actually enter your inner sanctum, gaze coolly over your absolutely LOVELY looking stash and proclaim you have spent enough money already and she needs more makeup...????
