The plan is to do it as JE-J jr with her infamous ModXXX beer barrels. Profimideller make a conversion set for this but they make you assemble the barrels from individual staves. Not being a cooper, i couldn't make that work for me so I found some wood barrels in a suitable size: Much easier. JE-J Jr is a IXe so I had to modify the wing armament to match. AML make a suitable conversion set so I used that. Cannon barrels are from Master. The engine all assembled and ready for her cradle. Now to start on the cockpit. I've managed to get them to stay in place for the most part. I was waiting for seatbelts to arrive but then found one set in the stash so I was able to start up again. First up was the IP. I used a Yahu panel for this. Then it was onto the rest of the cockpit. Recently did the Mk XVIe and they are great kits but I'd just say watch the engine alignment if you want to get the cowling covers to fit well. I find they have the best layout for the buckles on their frets as well as instructions. You can actually see how everything should go together. The cowls are a hit or miss affair.
