So last night I had soooo much fun, tucking it back, slightly offset between the windshield fluid reservoir and the steel brace, totally safe

Because if the size of the new alternator I had to modified the mounting bracket and tweak with it he wiring harness a bit. But she’s alive :)

There's a company making a electric "crate motor" that will basically fit wherever an LS small block does. It even has the same mounting points.

Yes, but you won't be able to squeeze the battery into the engine bay tho...

Last night I spent by ripping the rubber sound deadening sticker out of the back. The glue residue is everywhere. Also I was able “finally “ to figure out the seat belt layout. Realizing that I’m missing a bunch of hardware I took off shopping this morning.

here’s the trunk area before clean up

and here is the same space with the rubber padding out and somewhat clean if the glue residue 54654FE9-991A-485D-A3E1-7B44566FBDCE.thumb.jpeg.ce833d79d561023a24adc08c8880f381.jpeg

Now   Time to secure the side panels , top headliner and I should bring off whatever if left of the roll cage

Apologies Martin, we are told that more is more when it comes to applying the Sika Mastic. Rather too much than an inadequate coverage, especially when it's used in areas of water leakage. This factor also makes it especially difficult for assemblers when doing interiors, as it's really hard to get out of felts and carpets.

We're not meant to think about the consequences of taking it out.

I have to admit, you’re absolutely right. I put it there some eight years ago and now I’m paying the price.
after few hours of grinding the rollcage leftovers I was able to wash it all off and install the rear bench that I got from a wrecker years back and put a new Corbeau upholstery on it. Looks ok.  Spare wheel well was painted...... just because. :)

A love/hate sort of relationship I guess. :D

No rush on the Beaufighter. My bench, in fact the whole basement is in shambles at the moment. Partway through the reorganization.
