P-47D Razorback build

Comparing the Hasegawa fuselage to the Trumpeter I find two "issues". The tail on the Trumpeter kit is taller than the Hasegawa. Also, the fuselage is deeper. My guess would be the Trumpeter is a bit off.

Having built the Trumpeter Jug my main piece of advice would be to join the spine inserts to the fuselage halves and then join them, rather than as the instructions show. Gets you a far neater finish.

Surely they must source original or copies the subject in question? Ok injection moulding and cost can negate certain details but verbal shape and mass of fuselage and wings can’t be difficult, IMHO.........

As soon as I get well along or completed Hasegawa or Tamiya will announce a razorback. LOL :)
