Thoughts on MRP paints?

Recommended Posts

I have been itching to try these, but when I go to their site, they tell me no shipping to USA. I can’t find a US distributor. Where do people get these?

Could you not get them shipped to a buddy ) one maybe on this site) and then have them shipped to you from their house?  Maybe a kind soul would help like that? Just a thought...

Awesome paint and I use MRP along with Mr Color lacquer and am a happy camper. Yup, Hobbyworld carries the entire line.

how are these compatible with acrylic paints, fillers, and primers?

You can shoot acrylic paints, fillers and primers onto cellulose paints, fillers and primers. But if otherwise, you have to take caution when you do this. When you want to shoot an cellulose paint onto a acrylic paint, primer, you have to be sure that you lay very thin layers of paint. In that way the cellulose solvent can vapouriz quickly instead of attacking the underneath acrylic layer. Still, you have to take caution because the cellulose paint is more aggressive then the acrylic one.

To be short said, acrylics are not compatible with cellulose (MRP) paints.
