Trumpeter P-40F build! Checkertails?

Those are "L"s, not "F"s. The "L"s didn't have that little indention behind the stacks and were long-tailed. If you have the D&S for the P-40 you can find it there.

Hey 1to1

 Watch out for the Zotz Checkertail decals they are thick and brittle. If you look at my build closely you will see that I had to touch up with paint were they broke off they are bigger then the tail planes and rudder, so they hang over which makes it very difficult to trim them with out wrecking them.

Thank you, Ill keep that in mind, Ill probably paint the checkers and insignia anyway, ill just use the small decals.
