The kit was started by its previous owner, but I'm confident it's less than 25%.

Just the kind of GB we want: a bunch of halfwit airplane guys building armor.

this GB is going to look like a room full of Chimpanzees on typewriters...

I LOVE IT!!

I have this same kit sitting in a box in my old bedroom on another continent.  Looking forward to seeing YOURS go together.

Nice, I had that kit when I was a kid (kind of old kid, of maybe twelve years). Great to see this one participating.

Cheers Rob

If I had this kit in one hand and the Dragon version in the other, it would fly.

Out my window.

Landing gear assembled; got the sink holes filled, but some more minor filling to do.

Some sub-assembly work done...

DSCN2177-1.jpg

I don't know how much of this will be visible, but I had to fill ejector pin marks and voids...

The wing has had its EPMs filled and sanded. A coat of paint already, too.

Nice progress there Bill.

I think there may be an issue with the airfoil profile of the wing though. Did the 88 have a Davis wing or a laminar flow one?
