That looks great, Jeroen! Your diorama is based on a photo I know of the Watson Whizzers capturing a single seat aircraft in Germany at the end of WWII, isn‘t it?

Good Question!

Yes and no. I know what photo you are referring to, but my inspiration came from a different photo. Namely this one. You can see a Willy's right next to the Do-335A-12 number 112, which I'm making.

Oberpfaffenhofen had numerous Do-335's on it's field when found by the US Army. Both single seat and trainers.

If you add the bomb to the internal bomb bay the detail is sufficient. But when you leave it out you’ll need to spice it up. Here are the first of some added details. also found a long thin

Getting ready to close the fuse. I can’t get iver the enormous size of this Plane.. The two seater spine fits like a glove.

Thnx guys! Just fitted the Mk103 cannon and Mg151 guns. Perfect. I will display this plane with 2 Genuine Mg151 rounds And one mk103 30mm round. Hard to come by, but i found them!

I‘ve never seen these pictures! Very interesting! Is „World War Photos“ a source  in the internet? So your Twin-Seater will receive Natural metal cowlings for the front engine? This will be an eye-catcher together with the Jeep and the map they will be standing on!
Where do you store all the Models you build?

That is looking most excellent.  I spent a little time with NASM's A-0 "102" a few years back documenting the engine installations and cockpit.  Truly a remarkable machine!  You have rendered it well.

Very nice work. I have been contemplating building the Zoukei Mura A 12. Is the HK series as accurate as the ZM?

Both kits are great. The HK kit has better fit and better after market options available.
In terms of accuracy both kits are on the mark. Out of the box ZM might be better but there is hardly any after market available for it.

Panel lines done witg a Mig black panel line wash. Matt varnish down. Now on to my favorite part: weathering.

That looks really stunning, Jeroen! :unworthy:
Especially the fading of the panels looks very convincing. Lots of work to lighten up all the panels!

Do you also have a picture from the bottom of the plane? Would be great to see!

Thnx!

Here’s a pic in mid panel wash stage. The underside of this plane was bare aluminium.

Looks beautiful and perfectly shaded too!

Is this Alclad or what did you use ?

Yes, Alclad. Still much more shading and weathering to do..
