You have great talent, and I'm sure I will learn something, and it will be an interesting build, a rather cool looking airplane.... 3

Administrators Fran 1,192 Posted November 27, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted November 27, 2020 Resin! LukGraph made very good looking resin kits. The price will be around 120/140€.

DocRob 7,317
Right down my alley. It's not the first time I'm eying a Lukgraph kit, but until now, I ordered only a beautiful casted rotary engine from them. The Friedrichshafen could be my first full resin plane I guess. Cheers Rob

Cheers Rob I was always hoping that Wingnut Wings would do this aircraft. So now I will also buy my first LukGraph kit !!! Happy 2021
GazzaS 7,789
So... for those of you who have built Lukgraph kits before I pose this question: What are the struts made of? I can't imagine trusting much weight on resin struts.
HubertB 3,648
They have a metal rod insert. Hubert 4
GazzaS 7,789
Although I really like the shape of the plane... I really don't want to have to deal with resin dust. I just don;t want to wear a mask.

They are more in the league of Fisher and Silver Wings, i.e. among the best ones. Hubert

GazzaS 7,789
I have a prominent. narrow nose. Paper masks just don't work for me. I have to wear a proper, rubber sealed mask, otherwise dust and air just flow down into the gaps in front of my eyes and into my nostrils or mouth. 3
Bill_S 2,025
I have a thing for planes on floats. I'm pretty sure the images are CAD renderings, but it looks beautiful!
