Eric, this particular vehicle is of British Army in Tunis.
But a lot of Bedfords were used by RAF on airfields.
So diarama with a bomber, say Lancaster for instance, and it's crew could be quite realistic I supose...

Nice!!!! What did you use for the canvas - it looks great!
wooow!!! Yup... the canvas look fantastic!! what did you use?
Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it
Well, the canvas No tricks guys, just a very thin light paper - the silk paper. It is very thin having one side glossy and the other flat with some sort of structure. Work is quite easy. You just need some thined white glue.
The only problem is the silk paper shrinks a lot when the glue dries. I know it because my canvas top construction collapsed during the first attempt . The second time I've make the paper more relaxed and the result - you see
Thanks again

Hi,
I am working several days on Airfix beautiful new Bedford.
My intention is to make this
Started by tuning up the gas tanks and rear fenders.
Next was the canvas top. As you can see on the original photo, the truck I am doing is of the fixed canvas type - i.e. it is considered a "van".So I had to fabricate a frame for a canvas. I made a new canvas top for a cab, too.Next will be filters, stains, dust, oil, rust etc. etc. etc.S.- 1

Hi Gus,
I am using Tamiya magnifier. Bit more expensive but very handy and works with my eye glasses without any problems.
Also optical quality is great - no distorsion, just magnified vision

Please do! I already have the ammunition boxes ready on my OAW, but I would like to know when it`s available...
Wow, Alexandr! That ammunition box is superb.
I sincerely hope that you decide to run this as an ongoing product

Thanks guys for your interest. I decided to give it a chance so the set for WNW Fokker D.VII Empty Ammo Box is currently being etched
I´ve enhanced the design a bit and now it ´s possible to make any one of three variants of the box - high, medium or low.
I should have the first production batch available in 2 -3 weeks. So in case you are still interested or you know somebody who could be interested, please let me know via PM.
I know this GB is over and I am sorry not to finish my ´Schwabeń´ in time but I did not give up ....
Some progress from the last weekend interior assembly session. My empty ammo box is used so you can see the result.
The alignment is not perfect on my assembly but that´s because of faulty piece of hardware somewhere between my chair and the workbench
Thanks to this GB for inspiration.
I will continue the build in In progress theme. See you there soon

Alexandr where did you get the photo-etched sheet? Which brand?
Hi Pardelhas,
It's my own design . My private brand - MaDSaM
The sheet pictured here is the first prototype which was a bit too big. The finished ammo case is from the second prototype which is also not 100% correct but usable. I am considering production of a very limited run of the final version with all the needed corrections implemented.
The current design is intended solely for OAW machines but coud be easily modified for the other versions just by different ammo chute "horns".
Would you like me to let you know when it's finished?

I am bit late with my build partially due to doing new things ...
After finishing the engine I am focused on the interior.
Beside the normal stuff like interior lozenge, painting the frame, seat etc,.I've also think about the ammo box.
I decided to have it empty so I have to make it from scratch.
Finally I've turned this:
Into this:
Hope you like it - like I doAlexandr

Hi,
We've tried them already with several friends. It's very nice, really ZERO carrier film, the effect is just perfect.
The application is completely the same as for their positive rivets.
Just make sure the undelying color adheres perfectly to the model surface. In case of any imperfection the color could be lifted up when removing the top foil second day after application.
Other than that the top notch product!

Hi Mark,
I had the same problem at the same location in my kit. Just the damage was not so bad as yours so I was able to repair it myself.
Seems there is a systematic problem...

I just can't resist and start to play with some parts.
This isn't the real start because I still have to get some more goodies.
So I've touch up an engine by adding some oil pipe and replace the water cooling on cylinders.
Taurus Models details will also be added later on when I get it...

I have a very good results using cheap children electric toothbrush. It has smooth yet stiff brush. I am using it also to clean the model before painting.
