CANicoll
Somehow or another I've stumbled across Propeller 77 and their product line of stencils and work bench accessories. Has anyone used their stencils? Check out here and here. They also have some paint and glue holders. The stencils look very interesting, especially the squiggly line one for Luftwaffe planes. Any thoughts? Thanks! Count0
Interesting. But how well will it conform to the curves of a fuselage spine, or a wing root? If the plastic is too thick they also tend to lift inside the pattern, in my experience.
PanzerWomble
I use the USCHI PE mottling masks occasionally , smaller and a bit bendy. Don't use them a lot but useful for adding "texture" I find automotive 3mm plastic masking tape is pretty good for basic lining , it's designed to flex around so works for hard edge cammo .
CANicoll
I have the RB Productions metal Wood airbrush stencil set as well as the plastic AK flexible airbrush stencils - just have not used either of them yet... I would think you would have to be careful to lift the stencil straight up to avoid smudging the paint? I go through a lot of low-tack home DIY tape when I'm masking camo lines. Inexpensive and comes in big rolls.
PanzerWomble
@CANicoll Personally I don't put the stencil on the surface , I hold it off a bit and spray through

But I think with the squiggles you would have too, or they would feather along the edges which is not what those German squiggles look like. They tend to be tight. They also are probably never anywhere near as perfect as most of us would require on our models.
