Hello everyone. I masked some areas on my PCM spitfire with liquid Latex. Due to a house move it got left on for a lot longer than I expected (about a year!). It seems well and truly stuck now. Does anyone have an idea how I can remove it without ruining the paint work? It's applied over vallejo acrylics. Thanks in advance Steve.

Use clear varnish and add a drop or two of the required green. This way you can alter not only the colour you want but the opaqueness as well. I usually use humbrol enamels with their gloss varnish and airbrush it onto the clear part. As with anything concerning clear parts, you have to be super clean to avoid dust particles.
