Tom,
Excellent work! You are a master, indeed!

I have used Humbrol paints in the past. I liked them and had no problem with them, but I hated pouring the paint out of those little tins, always made a mess
When I was stationed in England, I used to frequent a hobby shop in Oxford and I bought many Humbrol paints.
When I came back to the States in '87, All my tins came with me, but alas, that was 30 years ago and all those paints are looong gone

Hang in there buddy!

Got my Berna sheet in, found out that a good, close match for the Matt Metallic Green is Euro Dark Green. (thanks Doogs)
Slowly getting there...

Doogs, nice 520. Azur?
-
Cool! Thanks Doogs, I did not know that...

I've been told that its a close match to Japanese Navy Green, so I'll probably just go with that.
Thanks for the tips..

Hey all,
Need a little help here..
I did some searching for Testor Model Master equivelants of Humbrol paints for my French 190..
I found the grey color so I'm good there, however,
Is there a match, or close match, for Humbrol 75 Matt Bronze Green from Testors?
Thanks,
Cheers, Ian

Did some cross referencing Humbrol Colors to Testors Model Master and I found at least one match..
The Humbrol 75 comes out as Matt Bronze Green that has no Testors equivelent
The Testors match for Humbrol 128 is US Compass Ghost Grey, so I'm good there
Ia there any Testors equivelent for Matt Bronze Green?
Cheers, Ian

Hey all,
Finally picked a paint scheme for my 190. Picked this up the other day. Berna Decals German aircraft in French service.
The 190 on the sheet is an A5, and my build is an F8. How much difference is there between the two versions?
Any idea what shade green and grey they're talking about? I don't recognize the paint numbers
Anyway, thats where I'm at today

Good stuff! I hope they do more stuff! Looks good..

Iain,
I'm following your advice about the installing the cowl flap actuators first. I just sawed all the pour stubs off last night. Definately took my time. Thin resin, didn't want to break anything..
Thanks for all the tips.....

Graham,
Where did you order your Czech decals from? The only ones I've been able to find is the old Superscale #32-33 Me-262/Avia CS-92 sheet
...and Rick might have answered my question for my Czech He-219 colors as well....
Thanks,
Cheers, Ian
