  13. Hello all, yes, it seems we will have to rely on the Bentley´s drawings. James, are you sure that the filter used on the Typhoon was the same as on Mk.VI Tempests? If so, I am sure that the Airfix part will help us a lot. But no need to send it, just a couple of photos would do. Thank you in advance. Petr
  14. Hello, I´d like to ask for a help here, we are (yes, slowly) finishing our pattern-model for the 1/32 Hawker Tempest Mk.II / V / VI. Now we have a problem with the Mk.VI´s underbelly air-filter fairing (see drawing below) which we´d like to portray correctly, but alas we have no photos for this detail. There are two sets of drawings available to us, these attached below and also a wonderful set from Mr. Bentles Each drawing is, sadly, depictiong this fairing differently. We would really appreciate your help. Thanks a lot! Petr / MPM Production
  15. More update : http://www.mpmkits.eu/2014/10/tempest-in-132-scale-part-three.html a teaser:

One of our latest news that were available for the first time during last weekend´s E-day 2014 show is this 1/35 resin model of Maschinengewehr 08 which was one of the most-widespread machine guns of both world war. The pattern model was 3D-printed from the CAD design. The model has two optional parts of the ammo-boxes, one closed and the other open and there are also two ammo-belts, one of them is a spare. More photos to be added soon on our blog: http://www.mpmkits.eu/ http://www.mpmkits.eu/

  21. Hello, Sorry, the Tempest model has been postponed, several other projects needed completion first. We assume that this model could be available between Christmas and Nuremberg Toy Fair.
  22. Hello Erik, Yes, this is the same model. We are not aware of any accuracy issues, and the molds were not changed.
  23. The model is, as stated above, produced exclusively for our foreign partner. But, thanks to friendly agreement limited ammount will be available also to Czech modellers . The model is just being packed and we will sell it for the first time on 14 June 2014 at Zlinkit model show.
  24. Clear parts, the canopy is in two pieces and there are also two clear parts for the gunsight, the sun-screen and reflector glass. We have forgotten one of them and therefore it is injected separately: The decals and photo-etched parts. There are five different markings. It was prepared with the help of probably the greatest expert on the Romanian AF, Mr. Radu Brinzan: Resin parts – exhausts, gunsight and two types of carburettor intake. The bigger one is fitted with anti-dust filter with fine mesh on its surface: Instructions printed on glossy coated paper and stapled to a slim booklet will guide you through the construction:
  25. Photo 15 shows in detail the instrument panel, separated (as in reality) to three parts. There are decals for the instruments on one of the decal sheets: Photo 16 - detail of the cockpit floor: Photo 17 – smaller parts of the u/c covers and the trim control wheel:
