    I had hoped in vain for Tamiya to release 1:32 scale Mk. VB. Next to the MK IX, I think it's the most beautiful Merlin engined Spit designed. In any event, the merlin engined birds have always been works of aerodynamic art in my book.

    The Spitfire Mk IXC is IMHO the most beautiful marque ever to grace the skies. The eliptical wings, the extended proportions and that Merlin roar....absolutely to die for! Unless you are flying a 109 or 190 :).
