New to the site. Blundered on the site searching for Revell B-1B kits and info. I built plastic models years- decades- ago, but went into RC and then giant scale - 3D, scale- as well as, some electric. Moved from California to Alabama to be close to daughter. Age and health dictate. Selling my RC stuff and wanting some desirable plastic models- setting up a "clean room" to build.
I've found the world of static scale models to be a world of it's own- incredible as far as detail and availability of after market parts. I still have a few plastic models from years ago- 1:48 B-58, Revell Spad and DR1. Looking at some of the creations here is amazing. Currently looking for the Platinum series Revell B-1B. I discovered Revell/Monogram went south when Hobbico failed. That all happened when I was in the midst of moving and house building. Total nightmare!
Learning that Wing nuts are the WW1 kits to get. Is the B1 available anywhere? Appreciate any contact and looking forward to trying my hand at realistic static scale .
