Fokker Dr.I Jagdstaffeln, Albatros Productions

Again, not a new book, but one that was acquired by me within the last year or so, the Fokker Dr.I Jagdstaffeln book by Albatros Productions. This has to be one of the coolest books I've seen on the Dr.I, at least in terms of the delightful illustrations by Ronny Bar, one of my favorite WWI profile artists. There are many, many profiles, all depicting various units that flew the venerable Triplane. Other artists have contributed as well, and the book is also sprinkled with very nice period photos. Yet another winner from the folks at Albatros. Purchasing this book is not something you'll regret.
