CANicoll Posted Friday at 02:28 AM Share Posted Friday at 02:28 AM Nice kit and I wish I had the TBM. Just a heads-up: The EagleCal Big Beautiful Doll nose checkers do not fit the Tamiya kit. I built this exact kit and with these decals and worked with EagleCal for over a month on the BBD decals. They sent me two different sets of decals to replace the set I had bought. None fit - huge gaps and did not fit the contours. They finally admitted they scaled up the 1/48 decals to 1/32 size. However, Tamiya re-engineered the 1/32 kit - they did not simply upscale their 1/48 kit. Just want to save someone the headaches I went through trying to build Big Beautiful Doll. I finally ended up using Zotz nose checkers for a different Mustang from that group. They fit extremely well with a minor bit of fitting. The other EagleCal decals in the BBD set worked beautifully, including the wing-tip checkers. 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
