GUY5Y
I put this on the shelf a couple of years ago,"finished".......ya,right! Ok,so it was kleared, decalled, matt coated. This I have also taken off the shelf to try and turn into a better looking dust collector. I have run some pastel washes over it.my question is......am I to late for oil dotting........or can I with what mix/ratio/colour shoot a filter over it? I can't say it enough.......the learning curve is amazing
Dave J
The first question would be what type of Matt coat have you used? If its oil base you will could have a few issues.

Dave J
It was testors rattle can So it's lacquer base then... You should be fine. Once you finish you oil dotting/weathering I would give it another coat with varnish.
