Start to play with the Wuger today...
Glued the wheel bay and wing half's together... Then went to stick the flaps in and they are only design to be fitted in the deployed position, which I didn't want to do as the photo above has the flaps in the closed position.
I found that you can do it by removing the locating tabs off the flaps and thinning down the lip on the lower wing, then you have to play around for 30mins to get it to sit right, if you have the upper wing on....

I don't know if this still works.... jrutman53@yahoo.com

I would be interested in getting the spats as separate items... The nose shape does look good, but the it price is kinda putting me off... Once I convert it back to NZ $ and then I have to add on Shipping too!
Hoes does the Eduard Intake match to the Resin parts? Can it be done?

Yeap Drop Jerry a email or Message him via LSP... Sometimes he has a few things laying around!

Interesting read Nick!

I don't think its a bad kit... just poor research/mistakes, these mistakes could be address by getting someone in the know to have a look at the CAD work prior...
End of the day... It still looks like a Spitfire Vb!

The cockpit is a huge cock up... I have one on the go that has been put a side... But I was able to get an Aries Vb pit for the Hasegawa kit to fit, which makes the whole thing look way better

Sorry Rog! I miss that... I am still waking up!

I am enjoying the Revell kit... Yes agree with Mike and Matt, with the WTF moments... But its still a pretty nice kit, I would seriously think about the Revell kit over the Hasegawa kit when there is more AM out for it.
I too need to get around to my Trumpeter kit!

Playing around with an spare cowl to get the turned finish.. I started off spraying Mr Color #8 Silver as the base and then Citadel Chinmail was then brushed on..
Internal side walls are all painted up and weathered... Tamiya RLM Grey was used and then to weather all AK Engine Grime on the Metal area and OIF & OEF Streaking Effects on the Fabric
And all button up, time to tackle seams!

The site does look pretty basic and worrying for the first time buyer... I haven't had any issues with Dave and his orders normally get to me in NZ with 10 days.
I am thinking of getting a couple of things from him shortly too... If your interested maybe we can split the shipping?

Ok, so I have this Trumpeter F/A-18E that I just got off Arrow Wolf.... Since I really don't know that much about things that suck and blow hot air... What AM is out there for the Super Bugs?... I done a basic search via Google and some of the stores and I have only found the a few things...
Rhino Seamless intakes w/wheels (Ordered)
Eduard Sets
Quickboost ESC Pipes (Late) and ESC Vents (Early) - Really have no idea if these are need for an E?
Aires Nozzles
What else is out there.. the list seems to be small
