  1. This is my GMC cckw H1 dump truck I built a couple years ago using a Tamiya GMC cckw 353 and a Gaso.line resin Dump Bed that I added side boards to the bed and lightly weathered it enjoy the pics
  2. This is a old Revell Fruehauf Tanker I cut down and added some styrene supports to the sides and added some Tamiya Wheels and tires to it. The Dolly is a Don Mills Model’s I’ll have some better pics of it later

  4. Got some more done this evening. I fixed the fuel tank by adding a piece of styrene to the back of it. I added the tow hooks, air tank, sanded the tires and upgrade the cargo bed by added some styrene strips. I think I’m going to call it a night.

  7. I’ll be adding some Don Mills tow hooks and brake/gear shift levers to this. I also removed the fuel tank and air tank to give them a better look

  9. Here’s one I build a couple years ago it was a fun little build and I got more practice on my weathering skills on it
  10. They done it for safety. There was no ABS back then if you had to stop all a sudden with front brakes you would lose your steering and couldn’t control the truck some people ordered there trucks with no front brakes or there was a air switch on the dashboard if you had front brakes you could cut the air off to them in slick road conditions it read “Slippery or “Dry”
  11. My Autocar has a 290 Cummins 13 speed no front brakes or wig wag but it had a bostrom seat. My dad and I restored it just before he passed away. I had the truck for 19 years
  12. Here’s one I’ve started and painted twice I’ve had it for several years thought I give it another go. I’m going to give it another paint job and maybe add some details to it

  14. Thanks for the complements and the warm Welcome. Martin. This was my first tank and my first Tamiya kit also. I must say it went together very well all most effortless it’s a real enjoyable kit to me anyway. I plan on building another one some day I highly recommend you buy this kit if you’re interested in it

Great job on the plumbing I ran these old 250, 290, and 350s a lot the fuel lines are very accurate how do I know I’ve changed a couple in my day I used to own a 1976 autocar it had a 290 in it and the fuel line was leaking right behind the engine block I never could find it till one day I gave it some throttle from outside The cab and it squirted out right behind the block so I had to change it you’re doing a great job on this truck.

  17. I called this Korea Winter of 1953. I built this tank several years ago and it was one of my first 1/35 military pieces enjoy the pics.
  18. Build the DD frame shorten it to the length you want use the rear cross members and the single axle springs and rear end that comes with the kit I’ve done build a couple of these
