I once built a yam 250 based on the video game cosmic wartoad (how many of you remember that game) I cut the front indicators off and put them either side of the head light and then made it into a toads face added lasers to the side panels and toads feet to the rear light surround then painted the artwork on the cassette tape on the tank (who knows what a cassette tape is) you're showing your age if you know.

Hi all a a modeller on another kindly forum gave me this I was having a few problems not being happy with the results of my builds at the time I think I was being over critical at the time. He sent me this and said just build it oob don't worry about the end result, well it seemed rude to just do oob. I used to build full size custom bikes so decided to give it some of that treatment, in my defence I was in my 20s when I did that.

It's nice to know what it is, and as I said it is weathered superbly.

Great weathering effects, sorry but what is this, is it a robot or some sort of armoured soldier. Regardless I love the weathering you have obviously mastered weathering.

Hi all I mainly built scratch built ships before I got back into plastic kits and rekindled my love of them. Here is one of them. I sold this one to a retired engineer who used to work on her.
For those who don't know the ship she is the last ocean going paddle steamer she was sold to the current owner for one pound. I love this ship which is why I built her.

Hi all another one done with gold leaf, I had been looking for this kit for years having built it in my early 20s (I built all the airfix tall ships in my 20s they were some of the best airfix early kits sadly few of them are available now)
I have learnt a lot since those days and oh how I wish you could still get those kits now.
