That looks like RAF Harrowbeer in Devon to me , very distinctive dispersal pits .
I can't say for sure but 131 Sdn were there March -May 1944 .

Oooh, unrelated saw some BUFFS and a Bone at Fairford today .
My mate reckoned 'BUFFS and Bones' sounds like a bad 1990's boy band .

Love the original, but Clutch's cover of this sounds even better to my ears. Neil Fallon's vocals really add to the anger of the lyrics
Good shout , not heard that version before ....yup it really kicks ass . 👍

Not a negative comment , just a sharing of technique for your next one maybe ?
I'm a big fan of Mike Rinaldi , his take on doing tyres I found to be really effective . Also freezing vinyl tyres let you sand them if you're quick

2026 , year of "do new Sh!t"
Last time I built a helicopter was .....er ....1982 ..same year as my damn car 😂
Trumpeters 1/35 UH1B has mixed reviews , namely the quality of the rivets ...to which I say "Meh" , will it look like a Huey ? It's all in the paint folks . Oh and a build log too ...
Poor Match looks underscale .
turn on.... tune in....and drop out...Easter weekend Bank Holidays cometh.
Cue some sweet Creedance

Given the wonderful proper builds of 109s on this forum recently , this is clearly a Lesserschmidt .
Profipack G-14 , packed away a while ago , when I took it out this week it just needed decals and final fix . Few crappy bench pix and we can move on .

I used to like doing those old Tamiya bikes , did the 1/12 version of your CB750 . Really fun builds , unlike the 1:1 CB900 I once had 🙃

IIRC, the white label cement is of the « thick » type, a bit like tube glue, although thinner, and with an application brush.
As for ABS cement, I think MEK is good for it (it definitely is for PMMA - Perspex -).
Hubert
MEK is great for plastic welding , and making sprue goo if thats your thing 🤣
Goes well with Bicardi as well I'm told .
Don't use it a lot, but for small surface area contact the old Revell Contacta glue works for me as well as it "fills" better and has a longer working time than god old CA .

Just in case yer interested ..... I finally worked through some SOD builds and cleared the stash of unbuilt models down to 9 (inc one last SOD left ) ; leaving just £300 tied up in the stash .
So far this year, only one new one bought against my "rule" (Zis) , and what is now left in the stash was acquired in 2023 and 2025, so nothing at the back I've been ignoring for years or lost interest in .
Halved the display case space as well , making me think more about what it is I do want to keep more than a month or so .
Feels kinda liberating in all honesty .
I have small stack of modals that I have a hankering to build , having sold on unmade a lot of things bought on a whim .
Now I'm choosing a next build from a list of A grade stuff rather than , "I bought that cheap so should make it next", or embarking on a series of similar subjects, or worse.... dumbass nostalgia builds.
Also got a bit bored with repeating the same subject matter ...another German tank ....another 1/48 WW2 fighter etc
Sure I'll make them again , but going to be more selective in what I choose to buy/build this year, and what new skills I want to learn . And continually looking for inspiration from other modellers out there for that elusive 'something different' I've not done before .
Just sharing .

A37 , left at the edge of an airfield after US withdrawal, too damaged to fly out .
1/48 Trumpeter .
Started a while ago, but then got overtaken by the Dead Mig thing , which was more interesting to build

So to answer your question Carl , yes it needed a bit of clamping and CA , I think the front was slightly warped ...
First some weight in case it decided to tailsit

Everyone gets everything he wants. I wanted a chopper, and for my sins, they gave me one. Brought it up to me like room service. It was a real choice helo, and when it was over, I never wanted another
