Finished this side…now to the other side. I will take a better picture tomorrow when it’s not so dark.

So I primed the plaster casting white. Using acrylic dark/light brown stone colors, I sprayed the dark color first. I use a hair dryer to speed the drying time. I don’t like waiting 😂. Then I use the other colors like a wash. I usually use three different like colors. It leaves a marble like finish. Put a little paint on a flat brush and dip it in water. Then let the watery paint mixture flow over the object. Once it dries add more if needed and then move on to the next color. I will be adding some Woodland Scenics water to the fountain once it arrives.

Still adding a few parts to the truck and touch up left front tire.

There are some great model painters and I am not one of them but thanks for the compliment😁. After I sprayed the base coat I use a lighter shade of gray and water it down. Then I apply the wash over everything. It leaves an oxidized look. Something like this.

Moveable tailgate and sides

Not sure. The box say it’s a Tamiya cargo truck 4x2 3 ton. Is that the same thing?

If you are not aware of these companies here is a list I use frequently RT Diorama, Plus Model, Dio Dump, MiniArt, Juweela, Verlinden, Hansa System, Resicast, Reality in Scale and Royal Models.

No…the fountain, soon to be added street lamps and bridge are from RT Diorama and the building is from Dio Dump. The cobblestone and sidewalk pavers are from Juweela. I will also be adding a rung ladder along the bridge abutments which is also from RT Diorama.
