I picked a black and silver in the permant paint marker variety (K42 http://shop.krink.com/collections/products/products/k-42-paint-marker ) and tested them on some sprue yesterday and the left a great finish. Dried very hard and permanent as compaired to other markers and pens I've tried. Haven't checked them yet to see if they're tough enought for washers and such but impressed so far.
