Paulster Posted December 6, 2013 Author Share Posted December 6, 2013 Ideas from it were applied to the M-1. As far as prototype, no. It was a joint US/Germany (west) project. It's goal was to halt the hordes of Soviet tanks that everybody feared that were going to come crashing over the border.
