Paulster Posted December 6, 2013 Author Posted December 6, 2013 Ideas from it were applied to the M-1. As far as prototype, no. It was a joint US/Germany (west) project. It's goal was to halt the hordes of Soviet tanks that everybody feared that were going to come crashing over the border. Between American and German engineering it got totally out of hand cost wise and was cancelled.
