RalphSarc Posted February 6, 2024 Author Posted February 6, 2024 This morning with the help of some warm water and several stiff bristle brushes I began the technique of removing some of the XF-2 Flat White which recreates the wear you’d see in the winter white wash camouflage as the crew moved around the outside of the upper hull and turret either entering or exiting to Churchill, performing maintenance, loading ammunition etc. Hope I captured the technique? 5
FullArmor Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Hello. I found this excellent new tank museum video about Churchill tank evolution. 3
belugawhaleman Posted February 18, 2024 Posted February 18, 2024 Watched that video last night! Then I bought the Tamiya Churchill on Amazon... Like I said I built this kit before...but now I remember it was in 2002 not the early 90s as I previously said. I remember it was the 1996 re-release with the added figures. Ralph, yours turned out very nice.. I didn't know that winter camouflage was used on these tanks. 2
