Zooming into the photo the two guys standing on the wing, behind the pilot, are not doing anything other than looking INTO the cockpit floor with their hands in the pockets.  Very casual - as is the rest of the ground crew.  The pilot seems to be adjusting something on his right hip. 

All three guys by the bicycle seem to be looking at the fuselage close to the front of the wing.  Battle damage?  Something from the front of the fuselage entered the cockpit? No clue what has generated so much casual attention.
