This weekend I was away in SC for my daughter's softball tournament, and I took my two ME 410 kits down with me and gave them a start.  I have to say, the cockpit is really crazy as the instructions tell you to connect the front and rear cockpit tubs using the top of the fuselage, and there really aren't any connecting points.  This makes it even trickier as I have the CMK and Aires cockpit sets.  

I think I'm going to follow Ralph's approach and insert the tubs separately into one half of the fuselage and then glue the halves together using the fuselage top piece as a guide.
