RalphSarc
I really liked the effect I got using the light gray, gun metal and rust to highlight the panel lines. It made them pop out of all that black paint. My next build is going to be a 1/32 scale Revell Lockheed P38J Lightning and a 1/35 Tamiya Panther Tank for the Beaches to Berlin group build. Both will be in camouflage colors so looking forward painting on the panel lines in black and then applying the camouflage over that with the weathering. The pastels in combination with a liquid wash adds such detail and interest. I'm not a fan of extremely heavy weathering but a little wear and tear looks great. General
http://www.amazon.com/Spectrum-Artists-Soft-Pastel-Sets/dp/B002YKOBF4 Started picking up these 2-3 per week, while in Australia. At almost $4 ea. I selected about 15 tints of the hundreds available. 80-grit paper gives a nicely fine powder. They're solid tint and great saturation. regards
