Hi Ralph, its a pleasure to watch you building this model. Great that you find the information about the Peilgeraet PEILG6. In electronics the germans were really ahead of their time, also on the mechanical side of that stuff. Everything was equipped with self connecting plugs and fast locks. Just put the new receiver on the top of his frame in to the hinges and press it down, turn the four screws and finish.
I like the part, where you build it outside on the deck
Anyway, you make me looking forward to build my A-4
Thanks

I really love the Aires main wheel bay, but I still have trouble to handle my airbrush, to lighten some parts up and make shadows in the corner. Also the washing is something I have to learn.
And make one of the larger hoses new. I know there are four clamps and I have only three, but hey, those are the last war days and we are running out of those stuff

Great! I love those birds from the "Papageien Staffel". And I love the words on it. Just in case, its in bavarian slang and means: Sell my dress, I drive to heaven. Really some kind of this last days humor.

Hi, I was always a fan from the Bf 109 and I love the german camo. As a swiss guy i'm interested in the swiss version and so I decided to build all the different versions. Bought from Trumpeter the E-3, G-6 and from Revell the G-6, starting with this model. Also bought for this model the Eduard cockpit set ( fighting with me not to buy from Eduard the engine ) and from HGW the seat belts.
It was my first model after maybe 20 years and I worked step by step after a book from J.M. Villalba. So also the first time I used an airbrush .
My other book is from Georg Hoch Bf 109 in Swiss service, its also available in english and I just can highly recommend it.
Colors are most Vallejo, just lets just start and not talk to much ( I know that my english is maybe sometimes very confusing )
Oh my god! when I look at the pictures and I see: how bad I fit the cockpit in to the body, shame on me!! So when your model just stand in front of you: not so bad! But if you made closeup pictures........
Thanks
