Oh boys!!! Very equal with me, I remember not my age but it was a saturday morning in a shopping center nearby. My daddy bought me a Revell 1/72 P-40 with a shark mouth. At home we just build it together and I was really impressed about the teeth and mouth on that plane, so I loved this tiny plane and carried it always with me until I forget it in the summer time in the car, the sun gave him an interesting design. I think my next one was a Matchbox 1/72 Bf 109 E-4, did you remember the brown fuselage and the yellow wings?!
I also remember the old Revell glue with the brush, I think I had more glue on my fingers than on the model ( especially funny, when you try with glue on your finger to put a clear canopy into place. This poor pilot was always blind flying!!)
Or when you take to much from that stuff, it makes the plastic nearly liquid. So before mom send you to beed you say: one moment, I just will glue my landing gear on to my new plane!! Ok. a few DROPS and with a cool professional movement, zack and the gear struts are in to place. What a picture on the next morning: the bird lies on his belly and the gear struts are stretched out!
Oh and stories with the paint.......... but before I boring you

The G-10 came after the G-14 and was the connection model between the G and K models and in the book from Harald Helmuth Vogt "Bf 109 Duty Planes" he wrote: on the beginning they use the G-6 wings, but with time they use more and more the K-4 wings, also when they do a repair or overhaul.
So on the G-10 everything is possible, you need to have an original picture from the specific plane you wanna build.

And I learned that overlapping is not an good idea, you will see it. From panel line to panel line works for me the best.

And so comes panel for panel. After that I will look for a way to make them more dull

now I come to the point to glue the fuselage together and I had so much fun to glue all the resin parts at the right position.
after a first coat, I saw that I need more training in sanding!!!!!
and the first colors
But I think the funny part will come, when I used for the first time the Bare-Metal foil, to cover the front part.

It is an advanced direction finding radio system.
Erik, you are right! The text to the pictures say it in german: Peilkompass = Direction compass. They also write there how it works.

Might be a stupid question but how big's the chance that the clear has yellowed over time? You see canopies changing color or opaqueness in museums all the time...
Thats a very good question! I know what you mean, you can see it very good on those MIG planes in museum. The Russian canopies seems to yellow very fast. But it looks different, they are not clear any more, it looks like foggy.

I don't know wich part at this time I love at most, doesn't matter where you look at, there is so much to see. Pictured with the right light, it will look like real!!!!!!!!!

I would say the same thing: the cover is yellow. After a little google I found both, yellow and clear and I found this picture from a Ju 87 light
So I would made the cover yellow

There where also a lot of dealers for parts and all kind of stuff. Oh, think I found my new table
This guy made furniture from original airplane parts!

I think I let it be now:
I'm not really happy with the silver painting, maybe I have to thin it more?

I think the same, with this you just have the engine, but you will need the mount and so on
And scratch building is something I have first to learn
