Lovely stuff Rick. Something appealing about the "unmottled" 190's. Cheers, Ralph.

Hello Mike. Good to see some progress on another GB project. Cheers, Ralph.

Cracker Dan. No more to say.

Great to see that at least some of the brass set will be used.

Perfect airbrushing weather predicted for this weekend Dan. Hope you can make the most of it and smash the fuselage mottling.

Lovely work Dave. Those Mr Colour colours are very pleasing to the eye. Cheers, Ralph.

Engine will be enclosed - for the sake of getting the build finished in a reasonable time.

Good stuff. I completely missed the nav light painting on mine. "Such is life..."

Very slow progress...
Some of the parts likely to need particular seam cleanup attention when aiming for the silver paintwork; namely the join forward of the windscreen, the multi-part underside intake, and the leading edge inserts. Seams were filled with either Mr Surfacer 500 or superglue, sanded, and then primed with Tamiya's bottled surface primer thinned with Tamiya's lacquer thinner.
Oft-described average fit of the leading edge inserts.
Radiator faces and wheel wells were painted with Floquil's Bright Silver, and then washed liberally with thinned-down Citadel Babab Black and Sepia.

Good stuff Dan. Interested in your print-and-peel technique (for the Revell He111 interior embellishment perhaps...).

Great stuff - well one to the LSM contributors. Sign me up for a boxart option build when she's released.

No secrets Kent. The arrows and markings were to remind me to drill the holes for the extra upper wing bulges, and to cut off the corners of the wheel bays.

Great finish. So many terrific schemes for the F-8/9's too.

Great model and scheme. No wonder you need the KTM Motad. Maybe the 1290 next to keep the modelling juice flowing??!! Cheers, Ralph.

"a little bit, every day..." Good to see Dan. I'll drop my E-1 over for your fix-it treatment...

Flying along. Great to see the momentum.

Hello John. Lovely model by the looks of the pic. Going to be hard not to find room for one of these. Cheers, Ralph.

Great progress. Noted your info about the seat colour on the other thread - appreciate the input. I've read elsewhere of seats being painted IG and black - can't offer any definitive evidence though. Love that armour plate!!

Not one finished... but two??!! Double cracker Mike!! That grey-violet really makes the scheme pop. Love it. Cheers, Ralph.

Cracker Mike. Always good to see another one done! Cheers, Ralph.

Hello Marek. Great stuff - lovely model and pics. Good to see them here. How were the markings applied - decals or painted? The canopy hood looks to sit a little high. Not seen anyone mention this about the kit. Look forward to your next project. Cheers, Ralph.
