  1. Some m9re work done. Getting there slowly...
  2. Excellent build! I'm currently building that kit myself but as Hartmann's mount. It really is a wonderful kit at that price, minus the landing gear and the seatbelts (Eduard's replacements are almost mandatory) I bought the ssmall-bulge wings in order to be accurate but unfortunately my paint-job won't be as good as yours I fear. Also: excellent photography skills!
  3. Far from done... but already looking like a proper G-10. Currently doing decals...
  4. I have yet to build my best build. ;-P Seriously though, so far I think my Revell 109G-6 would be my best.
  5. For my birthday I just got the new Eduard Gustav, the Hasegawe Friedrich (trop) in 1:32, and a biography of Hans-Joachim Marseille. Couldn't be happier! Well I should start thinking about getting an airbrush and compressor. But... the wife... :-/
  6. Starting to look like a proper 109 now...
  7. Quick update: resin parts installed. Had some gaps at the wingroot, difficult to fill/sand, but it's ok. "Primed" the bird with RLM 76 (Tamiya AS-5) now.
  8. Oh I have that profile bookmarked, I wasn't aware that was you! Guess I might have to paint it 74/75/76 then though I find VMC's versions of the first two very very low contrast. Might have ro mix 75 a bit lighter. I read some place that the plane might not be from the 491xxx but from the 490xxx batch. Did Erla have abandoned their zigzag camo by then already?
  9. Indeed. Too bad one can only guess if the underside was full RLM 76 or partially bare metal. And a view of the rudder would also have been nice. As far as I know, Revell's provided W.Nr. is only an educated guess.
  10. Hartmann's (supposed last?) mount, provided by the kit.
  11. Wings and fuselage mated today. All cowling seams filled/sanded/rescribed (badly ;-) )Also notice I beefed up the supercharger intake lip a bit. Now I need to wait for my Barracuda small-bulge wing parts to arrive.
  12. Seatbelts (Eduard) arrived today. Shoulderstraps will only be installed at the very end when I install the canopy.
  13. Instrument panel painted. Will not use decals...
  14. Started to build this today. As I've already built the G-6 the kit is familiar.
