Fellow modellers, I am looking for bulged bomb bay doors used when carrying Tallboy. I have the paragon 1:48 but now there is a need for 1:32. Does anyone know a 3D printer master or contact to the company, who made the dmbuster set? I just need the bomb bay doors. My target plane is Dark Victory. It was ” early” B.III. Thank you in advance :0) -

No, I am still learning how post. The point of the blister pic is related to the discussion of the HK blister. Looks like this might have been the reference. The bomb bay pic is related to discussion related to weather there has been only three bombs in a row. Seems to be that 4 is possible. My apoligues if it is confusing: question - when to use quote and when reply? I an not very familiar with this yet -

Sorry about the pictures being several times. I made mistake somewhere when I was downloading them. I do not know how to delete the multiply ones. -
Hi, I put my first model for inspection but I managed to get many of the pictures 2-3 times by mistake. Ho can I can clean the post from additional pictures? cheers, Yrjo

This model is made from the HK Models pre-series sprues that I got from Neil Yan in Hong Kong June 2013. Me and my wife were having our two week 20th anniversary trip in Asia. I had promised to the her that I will use only one day from theis two weeks for modeling. She knows that when ever we travel, I have to visit local modeling stores, museums and airshows, which she also likes a lot. It took me more than three years to finish this model. Here are some details: Flying Fortress B-17G-65-BO (43-37544) D-Day Doll 477th BG, 710th Sq Late spring 1945 at Rattlesden airfield, UK Model: HK Models 01E04 B-17G FLYING FORTRESS Scale 1:32 Main reference: http://www.447bg.com/43-37544.htm Main lacquers used for aluminum Alclad ll ALC-119 Airframe Aluminium, Mr. Metal Color 218 Aluminium, Model Master Metalizer 1401 Aluminium Plate Main coating Humbrol Clear Gloss Varnish Main colors Yellow: Model Master Acryl 4721 Insignia Yellow Red: Model Master Acryl 4714 Insignia Red Blue: Model Master Acryl 4742 Insignia Blue Green: Mixed from Valejo 007 Olive Green and 094 Green Zinc Chromate Olive Drab: LIFECOLOR UA 221 Khaki Olive Drab, UA 225 Olive Drab Faded Type 2 faded with yellow and white Main Weathering 01E04 Model AMS Resin: 32097 Prop governors Zotz Decals & Figures: 32059 Decals Video: https://youtu.be/mvOd_2Hwh9YWinsor&Newton Artisan water mixable oil colors Nose Art left (port) side of the plane Self painted and printed decal based on wartime color picture Special thanks to: :

And Neil told that he will put to the instructions information to put those K47 and L47 first to the wings. -

I build the wings and the fit was not perfect. I discussed also with Neil Yan/HK about this. He reminded that it is important to put the parts K47 and L47 to wings first. Those keep the form of the wing. -

yes, the nose blister. And HK Models instructions for decals (page 40-41) the nose blister is early type and the picture I found it looks like nose blister is late type. -

About the decals W4783. I tried to find a picture from it with the old bomber blister (HK Instructions page 40 and 42) but I could find war time pic only with the later bulged bomber blister from lancaster-archive. Anyone seen a pic with this Lanc and early blister? Just writing box review to local modelling magazine. http://www.lancaster-archive.com/ground crew_photos.htm -
