Thanks cib2265 . Continuing. And after I glued the engine started to interior that is what I like. Here little to glue only the two small parts in PE, the sides of the seat. I used the Interior Green mixture of Tamiya paints XF3 (2) and XF 5 (1). Regards ajcmac

Thank Doogs ATX. Already managed to get a sheet of decals. P-51D Mustang EagleCals EC-102 and intend to do the version «Ol Flak Joe». I started the engine. I was gluing by parts ... ... to finally glue everything. Wonder fittings. Almost do not notice where the parts were glued. I'll have to sand to rectify the error. Regards ajcmac

Another model that is here at home for a long time. A P-51 D Tamiya in 1/32 scale. I think it is time to try to finish it. I have the parts of engine and of the interior already glued. How not like to build natural metal models will try to get a sheet of decals with other colors. I have met one, I have done the order and just hope that is still in stock. The model. Sprues. Sheet of instructions. Decals. I will not use the individual brands but only the stencils. Mask. Regards ajcmac

This is a model started long ago. The painting scared me a bit and decided to stop to find solution for not making blunders. After seeing several assemblies (Revell and ZM 1/32) I decided to return with him to the bench. Let's see if this is going to end. I have a few pictures of what had already been done. For now I began by landing gear. Regards ajcmac

I thought the problems, after so much putty and sand, were over. Started by the decals on the left side. The two stars left in two pieces. Was not difficult to repair. The decal TexasLonghorn broke in four or five pieces . Luckily I managed to unite all the bits and did not seem to look bad. Then the right side. Curious! No problem . Regards ajcmac

Chipping and then gloss clear. Ready for placing decals. Regards ajcmac

Thank TeWika. Mask removed . Regards ajcmac

Ted I use Harder & Steenbeck Evolution. More putty and sandpaper. It Seems to have no end. The Dark Earth applied completed before the end of the year. At this time already have Dark Green ready. I am waiting for everything to dry in order to remove the mask. Wishes to all for a Happy New Year 2015. Regards ajcmac

Ted Sorry about my English. I hope you understand. Since I can remember I always used Tamiya paints. First the enamel and then acrylic. As before was building tanks never had problems. Since I switched tanks for aircraft models (2009) emerged me problems since the Tamiya had no specific paints for model planes. Much searching on the net and a lot of trial there could go arranging mixtures. Fortunately, with the launch of models in 1/32 scale things were improving. Earlier this year I built a model from Tamiya... Dornier 335 with RLM 81 and 83. The references by Tamiya, as was becoming habit, always referred up the cans of spray. I do not like and the mixtures I did also not please me. Then moved to the Gunze. I've used and liked. For dilution use thinner Tamiya (X-20 A) and do mixtures, lights and shadows, with white or yellow and black Tamiya. Despite continuing with the Tamiya paints in aircraft models English and Japanese on Germans models I started to paint them with Gunze. Regards ajcmac

I painted the Dark Hearth. I used the H-72 of Gunze. For vertical stems used the same paint (H-72) and painted at the same time.

Thanks for the kind comments . Ted Overall, wings, the rear of the cockpit, the rear fuselage, the fittings are weak. I used a lot of putty and sandpaper. On the wings solved the problem by using a bit of sprue. To all, Merry Christmas. Regards ajcmac

Thank Polux. After I know that the mask was out of stock I decided to make the mask for the canopy. Finally I will be able to continue with camouflage paint. Regards ajcmac

Daywalker I use the post-shading. Then, shading, silver applied with a sponge and finally a wash with Wash Dark MIG. Regards ajcmac

ajcmac replied to RalphSarc's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
I always wanted to build a model of WWI but the paint to simulate wood and all cables that help fix the wings scare me a lot. Congratulations on the achieved result . Regards ajcmac -
Thanks for following . Daywalker This is a mixture that appears in Beaufighter Tamiya 1/48 to Azure Blue. X-16 (3) + XF-2 (10) + XF-18 (5). Regards ajcmac
