  1. A model with well detailed interior, and perfect fittings. I used, from Eduard PE, the dashboard and seat belts. Cockpit. The finished model. I hope you enjoy. Regards ajcmac
  2. I had ordered the mask Eduard to continue to camouflage paint and this about a month. Still waiting. On the one hand it was good because it allowed me glue and paint parts that usually leave for the end and then it takes me a long time to finish the model. The propeller. Doors and landing gear. Painted the wells of the landing gear ... and finished the additional fuel tank. I am currently trying, with Tamiya tape, make the mask for the canopy. I hope to get to continue painting the model. Regards ajcmac
  3. RalphSarc The metal parts are HGW and belts made with Tamiya tape. JeroenPeters Thank you. Continuing. As I had already said I used a lot of putty and a lot of sandpaper. Glued wings and fuselage. I started painting the Azure Blue. A mixture made with Tamiya paints. After I applied light and shadow. Regards ajcmac
  4. By having little free space in my showcase I stopped building models in 1/32 scale. Yet here I have some one or two already started and some still sealed in the box. One, a P-40E Hasegawa, that I started to offer to a friend. The model that I intend to build is the «Texas Long Horn» This model looks like a patchwork quilt. The use of Hasegawa for with the same mold do the various versions of the P-40. Much putty and sandpaper. Redid lines and rivets. Finished interior. The seat with the seat belts. Regards ajcmac
  5. NOVAModeler I suppose it is. I compared the size of the Eduard model with a model of Tamiya (109 E4) and Eduard reality slats are larger. Regards ajcmac
  6. NOVAModeler my English is not good but I suppose you are referring to painting the model. I do not have pictures of the process in this model. I use post-shading. At base color mix a few drops of white or yellow (n this case I used white) to lighten and apply the mixture on the insides of the panels. Base color, mix black to darken and apply it on the lines of the panels. The two mixtures containing about 80% thinner. Sometimes, for the shadows, I use only black (is the case) also with 80% thinner. The result of the application of lights and shadows. It's a Spitfire in 1/48 scale but it is the only one with pictures of the process. The colors used. XF-83 Lights Shadows Top with the XF-82 and already with lights and shadows applied. and now with XF-81. Regards ajcmac
  7. Ed For the inside I used the Gunze H-80 (Khaki Green). The brown is a mixture of XF-60 and XF-10 Tamiya (1:1). For the bottom the XF-14 also from Tamiya. Regards ajcmac
  8. Air intake already repaired. I will then apply a primer to see if all is well. After redo some rivets and panels lines. I glued the wings and horizontal stabilizers. Now more putty and sanding. Regards ajcmac
  9. Thanks Chris S. I glued the fuselage. Fit right (thanks Dave J) with the exception of the lower engine cover. Attempting to rectify. Let's see what comes out. Before. Later. Regards ajcmac
  10. Fix the problem of "slats??". I glued the tabs to the fuselage. Finished interiors. The motor with exhaust pipes. A fit test. Regards ajcmac
  11. Another model in 1/32 scale. Ki-44 Hasegawa 1/32. OOB with the addition of seatbelts from Eduard. Hope you enjoy. Regards ajcmac
  12. More advances. Control panel. The office of the pilot. The engine. Missing the exhaust pipes. A fit test. Regards ajcmac
  13. XF-22 with XF-05. XF-22 (1) and XF-05 (XF-05) and about 80% of thinner. Regards ajcmac
  14. Have finished doors and wells of the landing gear ... side panels ... and fireproof (I suppose that's what it's called) and the engine mounts. Regards ajcmac
  15. Thank you all for your comments and for the errors of the model and solutions. Initially I was not thinking about leaving the engine sight. Now go get the engine cover open. Avoid problems fitting and will follow all of your instructions. Thank you. I painted the interior of the landing gear wells RLM 02 (Tamiya XF-22). Now weathering. Again thank you for your information. Regards ajcmac
  16. This will be my first model this forum. A Bf 109 E1 of Eduard on the scale 1/32. The model. The sprues. Decals, mask, PE and transparencies. This is the scheme that I like but I have a model with the same scheme in 1/48 scale. So, maybe go choose this. Regards ajcmac
