  1. Thank-you Phil , Rodens kits really aren't all that bad , give one a go . Built lot's of their 1/48 WW1 subjects and a few 72 scale . Great kits , but not your shake and bake style of a kit .
  2. Thank-you gentlemen ! Still another one of these in my stash as well
  3. Thank-you gentlemen . Rob , I guess that's why most of my WW1 stash are German aircraft , those bright colourful schemes !
  4. Finished off another project that I have been working on . This time Rodens SSW D.III . I used Brenguns PE set , gaspatch guns , RP seatbelts , Uschi standard rigging line , decals from the spare box and a few kit corrections in the cockpit with added detail . And HGW 5 colour fade lozenge upper and lower with their 5 colour rib tape upper and lower . The scheme is from Jack Herris book SSW aircraft of WW 1 . The build can be view here https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=10553.0
  5. Really nice job the camo sir , looks awesome !
  6. Very different , I like it .
  7. Not much time in front of the bench . For me mountain biking season is here so I out doors more enjoy the weathering , but I did get some time in front of the bench and made a bit of progress . I still have a few touch ups before I start the weathering . Engine needs it's detail painting button up as well .
  8. Thank-you very much guys . Rob , I used two different size of line . For the main wing rigging I used smoke invisible thread 0.1mm and for the control lines I used 0.15mm . The turnbuckles are made by me using brass tubing 0.5mm and making my own wire hoops
  9. Thanks Gaz Looking forward on having you tag along Rob Phil , any questions just ask
