  2. Current WIP 3d Print from Model 3D Int
  3. Getting close painting is basically done using custom masks no decals other than the instrument panel have been used.
  4. So far I am very impressed with the kit fantastic detail, Getting the cockpit built detail is on par with Kotare, Instructions however need lots of help. Very vague with no color call out for anything no instructions for the instrument panel decals etc. Kit has 2 sets of decals for the instrument panel first is a whole sheet to be put in the dials the second is individual dials for each instrument. This is a fun kit so far looking forward to getting the fuselage buttoned up
  5. Thanks It's been 30 years since I did a car of any scale so this is way out of my comfort zone.
  6. Anyone know what color the turret hatch inside is suppose to be? The inside is all flat white but is the inside of the top hatch white or Grey?

Eduard PE over the painted surface. Using the MR. Paint colors for all the paint work, can't say enough good things about these paints they are fantastic.

  11. The Fine Molds kit has the option for raised and lowered flaps while the Wingsy kit has separate alerons. The Wingsy kits wings are also a shade longer in width than the Fine Molds, Which on is correct I don’t know having limited documentation of this aircraft. The forward cockpit fire wall/ammo bine are more finely detailed in the Fine Molds kit but the cockpit Rear Bulkhead and floor are more detailed in the Wingsy kit which also adds several PE parts. Overall the Fine Molds kit I think captures the side walls better than the Wingsy kit. The Fine Molds kit gives the interal structure to be glues to the sides of the fusalage while the Wingsy kit has the walls inluded in the cockpit tube. The Fine Molds kit may be more basic on the rear bulkhead but it includes the Oxygen bottles behind the bulkhead while the Wingsy kit does not. Overall both kits have some nice detail in the cockpit and leave others out. Fine Molds Wingsy
  12. Starting off with the wings the parts in both kits are very nice and fit flawlessly, The Fine Molds kit has some amazing texture which when finished in bare metal will bring out the stressed metal. The Wingsy kit has some very fine and amazing rivit detail. Which one will turn out better with paint has yet to be seen. The Fine Molds kit has the cockpit floor as part of the wing while the Wingsy kit has it separate. The Fine Molds cockpit floor is rather basic in comparison to the Wingsy kit which includes a window in the floor and several PE parts for more detail . Fine Molds Wingsy
