I am a big fan of the P-47 Razorback and F-104 Starfighter. Here is my recent project i started last week. Building this OOB with aftermarket decals . Finally after many 109 kits i have built added the decals to the tires and struts. Make the gears/wheels more alive. Now to paint detail in office then the usual coat of future and weathering. The tires is air brushed tamiya flat black lightend up with white for rubber tire look. The hub hand painted with indian ink . Brushes on perfect and leaves no brush mark. Then i use future for gloss coat. Apply decal then airbrush future and then flat coat with testors dull coat . I painted the struts with Model master RLM 02 , gloass coat with future and use flory water base wash. TYhen model master dullcoat .
