Returned to modeling in August 2013 after suffering a heart attack and being diagnosed with throat cancer. Have recovered from both however lost my beloved wife to breast cancer in 2015.
Fast forward to 2024 after a two year courtship I remarried, bought a Class A RV spending summers in Maine and traveling throughout the US and Canada. Looking forward to a healthy retirement with Carol, our three dogs in Woodstock, GA. USA a small bedroom community north of Atlanta, GA, USA.

I model in 1/32 and 1/48 fixed and rotary wing aircraft kits along with 1/35 armor kits. 

I’m a tireless advocate of the hobby managing my Facebook group “The Basement Air Force” and becoming a monitor here at LSM.

My other interests include backpacking, gardening, woodworking, sailing, travel, HO model railroading and volunteering at our local hospitals CCU and Oncology areas. I walk daily and practice/maintain a healthy life style.
